SQ35 is part of a national volunteer organization called the Civil Air Patrol.  CAP has three missions, Aerospace education, Emergency Services and  Cadet operations.  CAP was first formed in 1941 and is now an Auxiliary unit of the Unites States Air Force.

Squadron 35 is located at Whiteman Airport in Pacoima, CA.  We are a senior squadron, meeting every Wednesday at 7:30pm.  This organization is very active in search and rescue, disaster relief missions as well as assisting in Cadet programs
